Privacy Policy

🔒 Introduction

Welcome to AaVi Technos (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Platform”), accessible at [yourdomain.com]. We provide a vehicle emergency registration service that generates a unique QR code for each registered vehicle and connects helpers with emergency contacts through a masked, privacy-protecting calling system.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have over it. By using our Platform, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

This Policy is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, along with its associated Rules, as applicable in India.

📋 Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you register for our service:

Vehicle & Owner Information: Vehicle registration number, owner’s full name (optional), blood group, and critical medical notes or allergies you choose to provide.

Emergency Contact Information: The phone number of the person you designate as your emergency contact. This is the most sensitive piece of data we hold, and it is never displayed publicly in raw form — see “How We Protect Your Phone Number” below.

Account Information: Your WordPress account details (username, email address) if you register directly on our site, or basic contact details if a profile is created on your behalf by our support/admin team.

Payment Information: When you make a payment, our payment gateway partners (Razorpay, PayU India, or UPI applications such as Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or BHIM) process your payment details directly. We do not store your card numbers, UPI PIN, or net-banking credentials on our servers at any time — these are handled entirely within the secure, PCI-DSS-compliant systems of our payment partners.

Technical & Usage Information: IP address, browser type, device information, and timestamps, collected automatically when you use our masked-calling feature — this is retained specifically for fraud prevention and security auditing purposes.

Cookies: Like most websites, we use cookies for essential site functionality and, where applicable, to serve relevant advertisements through Google AdSense (see “Advertising & Cookies” below).

🎯 How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected strictly for the following purposes:

  1. To create and maintain your vehicle emergency profile and generate your unique QR code.
  2. To operate our masked-calling feature, connecting a helper who scans your QR code with your designated emergency contact, without either party seeing the other’s real phone number.
  3. To process payments for one-time registration or annual subscription fees through our payment gateway partners.
  4. To send you service-related communications, such as payment confirmations, renewal reminders, or account notices.
  5. To investigate and prevent misuse, fraud, or abuse of our masked-calling feature.
  6. To comply with applicable Indian laws, regulations, or valid requests from law enforcement authorities.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for their own marketing purposes.

📞 How We Protect Your Emergency Contact’s Phone Number

Your emergency contact’s real phone number is stored in an encrypted, access-restricted database table. It is:

  • ✅ Never displayed in any public-facing HTML, script, or QR code content.
  • ✅ Only ever used internally to route a masked call through our licensed telecom infrastructure partner (Twilio and/or Exotel).
  • ✅ Never visible to the helper who scans your QR code — they only see a masked, temporary connection number provided by our telecom partner.

☎️ Telecom & Call Routing Disclosures

Our masked-calling feature is powered by third-party licensed telecommunications infrastructure providers, including Twilio Inc. and/or Exotel Techcom Pvt. Ltd. When a helper initiates a call through our Platform:

  • A bridged call is placed connecting the helper and your emergency contact through the telecom provider’s masking number.
  • Basic call metadata (the phone numbers involved, call duration, and timestamp) is logged by our Platform for security, fraud investigation, and dispute-resolution purposes, and may also be retained by our telecom infrastructure partner in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable telecom regulations.
  • We do not record or store the audio content of any call placed through this feature.
  • International or cross-border call routing may be used depending on our telecom provider’s infrastructure; this does not affect the confidentiality protections described above.

💳 Payment Gateway Data Sharing

To process your payment, necessary transactional details (amount, order reference, your contact information) are shared with our payment gateway partners — Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd., PayU Payments Pvt. Ltd., and/or UPI applications you choose to use. These partners are independently regulated payment aggregators licensed by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), and process your data under their own respective privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may request deletion of your profile and associated data at any time by contacting us (see Contact Us page) — we will action such requests within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any data we are legally required to retain.
